Has anyone got info on the difference between water in and water out of a commercial laundry?
In this case the laundry is attached to a hospital and does their laundry as well as contracted washing.
Different materials retain differing quantities of final rinse water which is driven off to air as steam .
For charging purposes what is a realistic allowance to make as a deduction from water in .

Hi Roger
For the Hospitals Laundry here in Hamilton we have allowed for a differential of 10% between water in and waste water out. However in cases like this, having the customer install a waste flow meter is most likely the best solution for both yourself and the laundry. |
