I am compiling a directory of on-site domestic wastewater treatment unit types, models, and supplier/manufacturers as utilised throughout NZ. What systems are currently in use in your locality?

Hi Ian, most common consented systems in HB are Innoflow Advantex, Oasis Series 2000, Biocycle 7900, Enviroflow AWTS, EMS Flowking, Gould GT8000, Gould Enviroclear, Gould GT10000. Smaller players include Iogenix, Airtech 9000, Hynds Lifestyle, Septec, Biolytix, Natural Flow Systems.

I would also differentiate the systems that have been approved via the OSET trail (a SWANS/Water NZ initiative) that is run collaboratively at Rotorua DC/EBoP and SWANS.

Entering your system (or not!) for 12 months assessment rather than relying on manufacturers claims is probably the best advert for a system.

Other systems to add would be Reflections & Waipapa Tanks (both been through OSET trial).

Thanks everyone for your input on this topic. I have completed compilation of the manufacturers/suppliers directory which is now posted online as "Directory of On-site Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant Manufacturers/Suppliers" through a direct link on the SWANS-SIG home page at http://waternz.org.nz/swans.html

There are 34 companies listed of which 12 have had treatment units through the Rotorua OSET TestFac trials. 21 units have completed testing through Trials 1 to 4, with 3 currently under test in Trial 5 (2009-2010).
